What happens when your data replaces the sample

What Stub Band does when the data is longer, shorter or emptier than the sample:

Fixed page furniture Never grows, never moves

the head band on the first sheet (document field and bone payment stub, fixed height — nothing in it may grow); a slim band on every later sheet; the foot rule with the report footer and folio

Repeats per record One block per row of your data

invoice lines (table rows; the column heads repeat on page break); tax groups in the totals ladder

Grows with your data Absorbs long values without breaking

the customer address; line descriptions; the narration; the bank block

Pinned to every page Holds position across page breaks

the head band at the top of the first sheet, the slim band at the top of later sheets, the foot rule at the bottom of every sheet

Order on the page What sits after what

the parties after the band; the lines after the parties; the totals after the lines; the payment and notes beside the totals

Page breaks What may split, what must not

the line table may split across pages; the totals ladder and the payment block must not

Last page How the document ends
